Anything that you have found interesting and/or amusing with anything having to do with LOTR. Please do not post anything literally random and useless.
I find it funny when you go into any special features regarding the creation of LOTR video games from the first three movies how they think that it is the best thing ever when in reality they were quite inadequate.

Well, since it is random thoughts, I guess the first ting that comes to mind with LOTR is the idea that it is a timeless story, that applies to all cultures and beliefs, and brought the world together in the beginning of the decade. I love how Tolkien put so much effort into creating an entire universe to accompany his stories, complete with languages, cultures, and emotion. That's all I can think of, but hopefully it can get the ball rolling on the thread.

Yeah, I totally agree with you there. Tolkien applied his profession while he wrote, creating several languages of elvish, that of mordor, that of the Rohirrim, ect. This contributed greatly to the unique essence that you can sense embedded into his story. Also, his use of songs and poetry reflects his style of writing, you can find this attention to detail for songs in the Redwall series by Brian Jaques.
