Hello,
I've been encountering trouble of my own with the HD 3870. The main menu appears to run fine, but any efforts to load/create a game ends with terrible stuttering. The game screen literally...
When it says "added to map" it simply adds a new location you can view. You can not visit these locations.
As for your game trouble, I would recommend you try and find another online game with...
I would love a sequel with the same idea, but the entire game would need to be revamped imo.
*sigh*
I'm getting sick of this. After WitN and BAC I'm not sure how much more I can take. I don't understand how a company can release software that appears to be not only untested but then fail...
I'm wondering the same thing. SB, could you at least let other ATI users know which cards will/will not function properly with this game?
I somewhat doubt this is ATI's biggest concern atm. Seems...
I agree entirely. I would have loved to have had some of the movie levels just as "bonus" maps that didn't necessarily tie into the story. It's not like the current challenge maps have any relevance...
Shouldn't the ATI fix be deployed on AMD's side, not Steam's?
That's what I'm wondering. Is there more to this, Snowblind?
Steam is downloading a patch for WitN as I type this *crosses fingers*
Unfortunately, the PC patch is still not out yet. Apparently Steam and OnLive are taking their time :/
This is for the PC Steam version of the game.

I am using a wired 360 controller.

I like the game a lot so far. I can see where the misconceptions have come from. The fact that there are so many bugs and the game starts sub-par (it's not a bad beginning, but the first couple...
I'm still waiting for my game to arrive, but when it does I imagine I'll be on quite a bit.

Steam and OnLive are the only platforms the PC version of WitN is supported on.
Steam players play with Steam players, OnLive players play with OnLive players.
I probably won't receive a confirmation email (game was bought off of wish list, ftw) so I'm left with my ever-waning patience.
Still, looks like Amazon has done well so far getting this game...
You can use a virtual audio input device for WitN ingame. Just get your friends to use it and you can use whatever voice software you want in the background.
Cool, glad it all worked out so well! Gl with your marriage.
I preordered from Amazon and am still waiting.
Nice review, thanks for all the details.
That's a good point, Brandalf85. I loved RotK's combat as well, although it was pretty straightforward (easy to pick up but difficult to become really effective with).
7.0 isn't bad. I sincerely...
Funny, I was looking at the time and thinking "only 7 more hours..." when the page came up with this at the top of the results.
Hard to believe it's finally here.
I've been getting quite a few of these. Used to get them pretty frequently with the Week in the War updates.
Using Firefox 7.0.1
Hey man, I've got the game preordered for PC too. Looking for some guys to play with, would be happy to add you when I get the game :)
Steam name is RandomSilence
Interesting how Beleram hasn't been one-hitting the trolls in the latest gameplay footage. I was under the impression that he could one-hit anything short of a boss.
