    Ending of the Game

I do not know if you already thought at the end of the game, but I think it would be a great final three races to make a last stand against Sauron, or in Erebor, or Forest Haunting or Dale. It would be a resistance without any hope, that would finish with the enemy fled and the sun to emerge, as the ring bearer would have made its mission.

    And What do you think?

I would like for the game to end around the siege of Erebor, this itself was a huge battle that stood on a knifes edge, only Saurons demise won the battle. The game could even carry on after the fall of Sauron and we could be placed along with Celeborn as he marched on Dol Guldur to finally rid the forest of evil.
Standing near was a huge man with a thick black beard and hair, and great bare arms and legs with knotted muscles. He was clothed in a tunic of wool down to his knees, and was leaning on a large axe.

I hope not. If the game does in fact turn out to be the best LOTR game ever. I would rather like a sequel at some stage. Taking it to the end game would stop that. I do not mind if they defeat a great evil hoard in the North, but a little space before we start tossing rings at any Lava would be good IMO

Maybe the game will go backwards like the movie genre and we will be playing through the events of 'The Hobbit'.

that is hard to happen because is confirmed that we will help Aragorn scouting after the arrive of Frodo to Rivendell, if they put all the 4books it will be a enormous game, and i dont think that Snowblind will include The Hobbit

Im with bruno this one: If this is that game what i've been waiting for long time i definetly want to see sequel too, maybe two. End is obviously around that when frodo destroys One ring, but as you said there is still orcs = Something to kill im some parts of Middle-earth.

WB has the rights to 'The Hobbit' now so I don't see why not. As Arya stated there is still lots of evil left in the world once Sauron is defeated, if I remember correctly I'm sure Aragorn after he was crowned king led a campaign to the Southlands.

I think a game should never assume there will be a sequel. I'd rather have a full fledged story and if they want to make a sequel, they could go into the period of The Hobbit (like The White Council was going to do) or just continue hunting down the final Orcs roaming through Middle-earth
A long time ago, a LOTR RPG like this one existed, I came to honour that RPG

By the same token a developer should never paint themselves into a corner where a sequel would be difficult to make worth while. I would not leke a sequel where i was tasked chasing after a few stray orcs.

They could do like in the movies, with Helms deep ending, where we knew it was not over but it did not seem as incomplete with a highpoint ending. While the way the fellowship film ended, felt like it was just cut at this point as we have used enough time in our 3 movie filming allows.

They should have a good plot and finish taking out a major enemy with a big battle, Just not the final battle.
