Partial Fix for Stuttering on ATI/AMD Hardware

Well the "fix" seemed to work but now ever since I have gotten to chapter 8 where no matter what I do (even all options turned to low) It stutters so bad I cannon't complete the area. This post can be deleted as I jumped the gun on what I thought (and i swore was in some areas) a way to lessen the stuttering for some.

That is unfortunate. I'm running ATI cards as well. I had to leave a co-op round due to extreme stuttering. I've tried v-syn on/off with no difference, either through CCC or RadeonPro. Single player is not much more manageable either, frustrating.

Yea basically it was just turning off Volumetric Effects & Distortion in video options. I had went through and changed each one individually and those were the only ones where I "noticed" any result. I had a buddy say it worked for him but it could of just been placebo and some other variables at the time.

I'm willing to try out those in-game video options, as well as buy a gamepad to see if that's an issue. I'd much prefer keyboard/mouse though since I haven't played a console in a few years.

I play using a 360 pad and have not noticed any difference in that area vs KB/M. Although for me personally the experience is more enjoyable on a pad. I have tried tweaking CCC, In game options and using RaedonPro to apply different CrossfireX profiles to try and get some performance boost and NOTHING has worked. I think we must just wait and be patient.

Oh and yes of course I've tried with Crossfire disabled
