    Well this is disappointing.

That's a little too bad. Reminds me of OddWorld Inhabitants, made great games, but something goes wrong.

BTW, Loving the glowing blue sword effect when Orcs approach.

Yeah, but it isn't over yet, so let's not give in yet. And I've already played Skyrim, pretty sick of it now. Though don't get me wrong, it's a fantastic game. But I've done the most of the things that you can do, and played it differently, on different characters (all Nords, Nords rule!) but alas...I'm sick of it now! And I'm not really in to Star Wars.

EDIT: Hey hey hey! Let's not get carried away now, this forum is still alive and the rest of Snowblind is a part of Warner Bros Seattle, perhaps they will focus on making an Add-On/DLC for the game. We can only hope that is what they intend to do. So don't get all dissapointed just yet, this community still lives, and I've PM:ed some of the admins here. As soon as they have given me their views of it, I'll post it here, I suggest you do the same if you recieve any news.

Well I hope these dudes still make games like this (whatever name they use) and their bosses give them enough time/money to fix the holes. Pretty talented people I'd say.

    Whoa Whoa Whoa.

Let's put the brakes on this here, folks.

    1) This article is nearly 2 months old and was speculation (and the speculation of one person who had not employed by WBGames or Snowblind since 2010) on the layoffs at WBGames Seattle. They were not confirmed by WBGames, and I can say that what is being brought up here is not accurate.
    2) We have continued to support War in the North since the time this article was first published. I have been in the forums near daily, we have created help videos to help get through some of the tougher battles, and we've released a patch, which was deployed the week of December 19 (2 weeks ago). We are still reaching out to the community on things you guys may be interested in. Any Q&A?s you'd be interested? Post them here: http://www.warinthenorth.com/forums/...-d-like-to-see

We've been quiet over the past week, only because it's the holidays, and with the exception of bug workarounds and patches, there isn't a lot of "new" info to put out right now.

So hopefully the community can put this thread to bed, and get back to threads helping new players, speculating on ideas for future things, and having a good time in this excellent community that has grown out of a love for The Lord of the Rings: War in the North!

As to me? I have off today since it's a national holiday, but I'll be back in the office tomorrow, pulling info out of the support forums, and talking to the team regularly, being your core source of info about the team.

As a side note, I'm pretty sure we're going to be running an awesome Twitter contest this week, so if you're not following us @warinthenorth, be sure to check it out.

This is awesome to hear @SBTINA. Completely addicted to WITN and was hoping you guys were still around to pump out more patches/DLC (more missions/challenge maps/ 1vs1vs1 deathmatch or team deathmatch?)!!!

If this is true, then it's a shame. The ones who should be layed off are the fools who didn't give these talented people enough time to do their job properly.
Anyway, this is a great forum and i hope it continues on for some time.

    @Jaggernut

Oddworld Inhabitants is still going and they have released a remake in HD of stranger's wrath. It's on the PSN. A remake of Abe's Oddysee is meant to be released this year.

    As for the topic:

I don't understand why people believed that this was the "end" as SnowblindTina has been posting on here since WITN's release and now she has confirmed that the news isn't accurate. So I guess the case is now closed. Heh heh heh.

    Whoa Whoa Whoa.

Did I miss the Steam Patch? Any word on that? Or is it being held back for further development?

I'm a 3rd through the game and still feel like a new player.
