Orc shaman on heroic mode help?!

Does anybody have good strategy for beating enemy shaman on heroic mod? He always hits me with 450 damage whic almost kills me! I'm level 27 by the way. Thanks in advance

In heroic mode these guys can kill you with pretty much one hit. My two ways around it is play as the lore master and use Sanctuary and fire on him with range attacks. The other is carry a lot of Resurgence potions, use them, until you get close enough to kill him.

Just curious, but have you tried a dodge attack on him? it has worked for me for the guys, don't hid behind the bubble
You can use the ranger's "stealth mode" to get close too.

They can still kill you on legendary as well.

When playing as Andriel -

Use sanctuary, wait till he's shot his bolt. Then charge into melee range and beat him to death. Optionally, activate shielding light before leaving your sanctuary if there's a lot of adds or you've got a squishy build

When playing as Eradan

Stealth, backstab. Easy!

When playing as Farin

Oneshot him with your ranged oneshot skill, before he oneshots you with his. Easy if you don't panic, as he's pretty slow on the draw.


They seem to take a few seconds to conjure their fireball, and they can't do it while getting beaten up. So once you've closed distance on any character, it's over for them.
