is there a way to restart but not lose equipment/experience?

I keep dying at the Nordinbad trolls' chapter. Run out of potions can't find any in the chests either. Is there a way to restart but not lose everything i have gained so far? Or there's no choice but to start over at 0?

I'm playing as Andriel, can't defeat them.

Have you gone back to earlier shops to buy potions? I believe some of them restock after a while. Here's a link to a dev video in which they explain a few tactics for the Siege of Nordinbad.

I don't think there's a way to restart the game without losing everything though.
You could also try to switch characters for this section or team up online if all else fails.

Thank you. Oh i'm doing xbox which says i need to be a live gold member to go online. Yes i swapped to the ranger. At that point, i couldn't buy any potions. On an Easy level, i remember some potions and ammo were dropped in my inventory but this time there wasn't. Either I'll try to block the doors or restart.

Greetings, ilkar77! I may have some advice to help you:

If you can, switch over to Farin the Dwarf. When it wants you to level him up and choose his abilities, make sure that you gain and level his explosive shot for his crossbow. It does massive amounts of damage (game-breaking amounts of damage), and once you have it you should have no problem beating Nordinbad.

Hello,
i managed to block the door as Eradan and somehow destroyed the trolls. Rather tough to fight without health potions so i upgraded the regen power in the evasion mode. Have to conserve potions. Thank you passivechicken. I haven't played as dwarf yet,hehe.
It's hard to log in. it keeps logging me out when i have already seen the thank you page. I wanted to add friends and send messages and this is the fifth attempt.
Went to faq and help but no solution.
