There hasn't been any mention of it. I would prefer that they work hard on getting the co-op as good as it can be. Maybe a Big DLC can hold competitive play down the road?

It's too early to know for certain, but I'll take a guess and say probably no.

Yes, it would be nice to practically play everything that has happened in Tolkien's writings that covers all ages with all the side quests, mini-games, cameos, fully customizable characters, and a bazillion races and spells but alas, this is just a video game.

It's always nice to see the evil side, plus I think there are a lot of good players that enjoy the evil side more

That is true, in my thinking let them hurry with the game and the co-op so we don't have to wait tooooooo long, then put in some evil side if possible.

an evil side would be awsome. perhaps once you beat endgame good or defeat final boss on a certain difficulty? if they dont add it either way games going to be sick

I would hope that they stick to making this game good before the tackle something as big as the evil side.I have gotten excited about this feature in games before only to discover it takes away more than it contributes.

Agreed. It would be really good, but since it's an RPG I think that it would have to open ended to be fun and therefore take away from the rest of the game.
