Lord of the rings Online (LotrO)

While waiting WitN to be released, this MMO is something what you should definetly try. It's surely best MMO i've ever played (And i have played lots of them),and DX11 graphics makes Middle-earth look really good. Pretty loyal to the lore and world open to free exploring, what could be better?

Here's some screenies,in case you would like to take a look at the visual side of this game:

    LotrO - Europe

    LotrO - USA

I picked this game up when it first was released but it never really caught me, I still have the game somewhere maybe I should try and pick it up once more.

I played my 30 day free trial and after that I think I even wen't back to WoW or started playing WoW wich caught me right away liked to level wich also was pretty great in LotrO but the instance and raids could never compare to WoW and being a big fan of that I led the game down.
Maybe it was because there werent that many online I never got very well into instance during LotrO I can't tell but I didnt think it was just enjoyable as WoWs raids.

Well maybe I should take a look into it, but I actually think they deleted my account because of inactivity. Do you know if I can just install my CD I have at home and then DL Mines of Moria from their official homepage?

Well yeah 5 minutes is not that long. Are you still playing it, if so are you doing any raids or so?

Hmm,no. You will have to buy Moria in case you haven't done that before.

And no ^^ As i said i got bored after 5 minutes and deleted it. LotrO is enough for me now.

I'm pretty sure that even if you never pay a penny for the game, you can reach level 65 (the max right now) and explore and kill monsters in every region (including Moria) of the game. You even get the 'epic quest line' for free that takes you through all the areas of middle-earth that have been released so far. But you won't have access to any other quests beyond the starter zones/epic quests unless you buy the quest packs individually, or pay at least $10-$15 month as a vip subscriber (as a subscriber you have access to everything of course).

I couldn't recommend lotro enough, it's probably my favorite pc game of all time. To me, it captures the land and life of middle-earth as good as a pc game could, plus it's a really fun rpg in and of itself, even if you play mostly solo like a traditional rpg. I've made a couple really good friends in the game, logging on is almost like walking in to the 'Cheers' bar room, sans Norm

Okay, though that was also free to download. Is there another level cap if you go buy the Moria Expansion?
