Keep doing random quests, and deeds, do them. You are playing Free to play yeah? Well, if you are you can mop up enough points to get you to the North Downs if you do the deeds in the starter areas and the Lonelands. Take your time and complete everything in onbe area before you move to the next would be my advice, for the beginning areas atleast.

At level 11, it would be a good time to move on to bree land if your not already there. The epic storyline is one of the best ways to gain levels around that level. Deeds are also good

    Thanks guys. Yeah, I'm free-to-play and no, I haven't ventured to Bree-land yet. :P

Are deeds just the small quests that you can get from random folks in different towns?

Deeds get auto picked up once you do something in relation to the deed. They often have you kill a certain amount of creatures (slayer), find different places in the area (exploration) and some other misc deeds. They usually are tiered and give rewards based one which tier you finish (ex. kill you 60 orcs on tier one and you get a title. Kill 120 orcs and you get a new virtue level) They also give xp.

What r the name of the quests? I remember a Goblin boss in Ered Luin but he was near Duillond not Thorin's.
The Quests name is something like Villains in the Vale or something like that. Anyways I figured out why I was killed so easily in Emyn Hoedh by all the wights, it turns out I was still using all the hand me downs weapons and armour I got at the beginning of the game so I basically upgraded everything to the max armour and damage type and now that part is quite easy. I'm in the Bree Land now doing some minor quests so I just skipped the Villains in the Vail part for now.

What are XP points for anyways, I got like 25,000 of them or something around that and I haven't figured out what use they are for.

You need XP to level up, that's about it.

Thanks for the info on deeds!

Just another question, if you fail a quest does it disappear is is there a chance to do it again?

You will be able to get them again after a while, though there aren't alot of quests you can fail, other than time based ones and defending people quests.

I only failed one quest where I had to defend this girl against raiders, the quest was meant for a fellowship but I chose instead to try it by myself. It turned out the girl got killed and it said I failed but a minute later I teamed up with a fellowship and was able to do it again.
