    Single Player

Lots of games nowadays focus on multiplayer and have the single player feature of their game very short. This is why I buy a lot of RPGs because they seem to be the only games nowadays with lengthy and replayable single player campaigns. The only game I have played that hasn't been an RPG and had a very lengthy and replayable single player campaign was Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. So I ask; Is War in The North - as an action RPG - lengthy and replayable? I've heard A LOT about the co-op but I haven't heard anything about the single player.

Also, I take it that War in The North is Dark Alliance mixed with Return of The King the video game? I didn't like Dark Alliance's combat but the combat in War in The North seems to be like Return of The King and if it contains the NG+ that Dark Alliance offered, then that'll be nice and War in The North would probably give me my money's worth, any information on this?

co-op and the singleplayer are the same (exept ofcourse the fact that you play either togheter with AI or human players).
I'm not sure about length and replayability but it should have both of them. This game seems to be alot about looting weapons wich you can find in hidden passages and I thought it's confirmed that you can backtrack so I gues it has at least the replayability.
NG+ is as far as I know not confirmed but would indeed be realy nice to have.

A great place to find answers to these particular questions is actually in the developer diary blogs and videos that can be found on the site, one of the recent ones talks about the co-op aspect of this game and its effect on the campaign. just simply head to the front page and check it out in the news feed.

As Dubious mentioned, single-player and co-op are really mixed into one. Whether you can have multiple saves so you can focus on each one separately, I'm not sure, but I'm guessing we will be able to do so.

As for length and replayability - I reckon we'll get both. I haven't played any other Snowblind games but I've heard that Baldur's Gate and their other games were quite long, so that should give us some indication. I am pretty sure that the chance to go back to certain areas was also mentioned, so that covers replayability.

Of course with three characters, you will have the chance to play through the game with each one.
Elrond: Nine companions. So be it. You shall be the fellowship of the ring.
Pippin: Great! Where are we going?
