theonering.net has put up the first screenshots from the set of 'The Hobbit'!
We'll all have to wait until Dec. 14, 2012, for the full fruits of director Peter Jackson's labors on his two-part adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien's Hobbit. But, to tide us over, Jackson has shared the first images from his Lord of the Rings prequels with Entertainment Weekly, showing how the fantasy epic is shaping up so far.

I agree, Martin Freeman was a genius cast. Did you hear that Bard, the voice of Smaug (and the Necromancer, same guy) a new mirkwood elf character, and the voice of the Goblin King have also been cast recently? check it out:

^Well there we go. I knew they wouldn't hold out long with such a male dominated cast (unattractive ones too since Dwarves have unruly beards)!

Martin Freeman looks awesome starring his role as a young Bilbo, I can't wait until all the remaining roles are cast. The only problem I have is how hard it is to find a Genuine Official Trailer for the Movie, all I have found so far are people's annoying attempts to create their own versions of the Trailer using footage from LOTR and then claiming it is the Official Trailer for the Hobbit. I would really appreciate it if someone could link the real and "Genuine" Trailer to this forum.

The Hobbit is still in production, and it doesnt hit theaters until late next year, so there is no official trailer at this point - i wish there was!
