The White Council

A few years back, I know that EA was working on the White Council, which was supposed to be set in the northern kingdom about 80 years before the War of the Ring. From the forums and internet talk, it was basically supposed to be TES: Oblivion set in teh LOTR universe, which basically gave me a nerd-gasm.

This got me thinking, that I would still REALLY like to see an Elder Scrolls-ish game set in the LOTR universe. How likely are we to see this happen? What elements of the classic Bethesda franchise would you like to see in this game?

I want WITN to be same, except with better graphics, online possibilities and a storyline that actually makes sense

Elder Scrolls-style game in Middle Earth would sell a lot. Such a shame if they make this a generic hack&slash.

I agree, The White Council would have been cool. Based on teh concept art, the game looked diverse.

I bet all of you have seen TWC's concept art. I mean it looked AMASING! I was so hyped for the game at that time so it would be a smart move from Snowblind to maybe take some ideas from that.

Yeah The White Council would have been cool, but there is one HUGE reason I like War in the North better, IT DIDN'T GET CANCLED. Lets keep it that way.

Well it's only been little over a week... It could still get canceled. I agree though; let's hope it's not.
