It has been confirmed, that War in the North will use Steamworks. So, then we will be able to pre-purchase it from Steam?
I love Steam and I am very happy, that Snowblind decided to use Steamworks in this game.

i still stay with my earlier comment...SB should do a ME battle game with WITN brutal combat engine and GOOD mounted combat, where we can replay the famous battles and skirmishes for the war of the ring

Ya I'd like that if the challenge maps were battles from the movie...such as the Osgiliath challenge map is when it is overrun by Gothmog's Mordor Uruk-Hai and orcs.
